As some of you know, I've got a '72 Pontiac Catalina convertible. It's a good car, though it desperately needs a paint job to halt the onset of rust. I don't have many photos of it (what's probably the
best one has a friend crawling on it), but I like it.
Just got it back a few days ago from the shop where it was getting some work and an inspection done. Went to Maaco to get an estimate on a paint job. They closed early, so I didn't get my estimate and, oh, is that a small river of antifreeze coming from my car?
It was. I kind of hate heater cores.
So, the Catalina's back in the shop, and it'll be more time and money before I can finally get the damn thing painted.

In other news, I've been employed for over a month now. Basically being an office grunt (mainly double checking drivers' logs and doing filing and whatnot), but it's a job. Temp, though, so I might be on the market for a new job again just in time for my birthday. Which I actually don't mind, since I've got a voucher for airfare I'm going to lose if I don't use it by around the end of November.

I find certain reactions to things I post on Facebook interesting. Seems like if I'm thinking about someone when I post a link (often for obscure reasons that make sense only to me), there's a strong chance of them being the only ones to like or comment on the post. Bears futher experimentation - it could mean something, but probably not.

Yeah, so I'm a member of a community or two that require members be active, so I figure I should post once in a while, even if there isn't much of substance.
