I find that I prefer the uncomplicated melodies, the lyrics that I can understand, and level voices of Filk over most of the mainstream music. I like to sing along with my music, something that has become harder to do with today's music. If I can understand the lyrics past the screaming, off-key, toneless voices, I often find them offensive. The melodies are all over the place, and frequently hurt my ears. Thanks, but I'll stick to filk. [but then I prefer the older style of Western music to a lot of what I hear today. You know, folks like Roy Rogers and Marty Robbins.]
Those people who gave those reviews have simply had their tastes warped. [sg]
One of the things I love about TTTS is the message of "We" and "Us", not "Me". It is going to take "Us" to get to the stars, which means we have to stop thinking about "me first".
