✩I am the Buyer✩ ❤ Type of Feedback: Negative ♡ Did the transaction happen via PM? Yes ❤ Communication: 1/5 ♡ Accuracy of item description: 1/5 ❤ Was the item shipped when agreed upon?: 1/5 ♡ Packaging: 1/5 ❤ Overall experience: 0/5 ♡ Additional comments: The entire transaction was a nightmare. I purchased alicebadeau's Petite Patisserie JSK in Mint and paid for my invoice right away. I later discovered that the person I was actually dealing with was her friend, when there was no mention of this on her sales post. Not only did I find out that I was dealing with multiple people, but her friend is also banned from the egl-comm-sales. When I received the dress, the lining was coming apart from the zipper, which was NOT listed in her sales post. I sent photos of said damages to her friend and that was only when the actual person behind alicebadeau came forward and decided to tell me then that she was out of the country. When I told her about the damages, I said I would take a partial refund. She then proceeded to name-drop, mentioing the "AP staff in SF," "AP designers," and "Melva Yan," how these damages weren't damages at al, but it was designed this way! I refused to acknowledge that the dress coming apart from the zipper was normal, so she made a post on EGL trying to call me out by asking other people with the same dress to come forward with this "defect." I was furious because she twisted the post and did not include the one picture that clearly shows how torn my dress was.
Short version: * alicebadeau makes a sales post * I PM with my Paypal * alicebadeau sends me an invoice from petitegoist@gmail.com * petitegoist = daimeiwaku = banned seller (eglfb: http://eglfeedback.livejournal.com/190348.html) * send petitegoist pictures of the damage * the "real" alicebadeau e-mails me back * refuses to acknowledge damage * says she'll give me a refund only if I send the dress back to her and she'll go to AP SF and get it fixed there (lol?) * I decline the offer. ask for partial refund to get the dress fixed * alicebadeau makes a post on EGL (here: http://egl.livejournal.com/19532228.html) * escalate the claim on PayPal * sends dress back * get full refund
This happened over the course of 2 months and was a fucking pain in the ass to deal with. I will NEVER do transactions with this person or her group of friends.
