It is the sign of a homemade soup. I had several frozen chicken carcasses, left over from when we ate whole chicken. There was a lot of meat left on the bones. I threw everything in the pot, and fished the bones out later. Very simple.
Yes! We often get a 'special' at the local market; every Thu. you can buy a "Five Buck Cluck", a rotisserie chicken. By Saturday or Sunday we have turned the remains into chicken soup!!
These were two that I had popped in the freezer a long while back. I threw them in the pot together. I also had some orange sauce I made at Christmas. That went in too. (Husband kept encountering it in the freezer, sans label. I mean, I did not need a label, I knew what it was. But he called it 'the urine sample.') And I had some rosemary getting old, so that, and some salted fatback which I fished out later. That was about it. Only chicken mostly.
Sorry, did not mean to give whole recipe. Particularly as you do it yourself too-- anyway, hi. (waves)

ROFL! Yeah, I've heard that one... XD
Personally speaking, I approve of sold soup. My granny used to refer to it as "soup you can dance on" :)
