We've all run into those disappointments, and those triumphs. you order a dress whose measurements should fit, but they don't. They don't sit right. They ride up on the bust. The placement of the shirring turns it into a babydoll. I've seen a little bit of this on Lolibrary now in the comments section, but why not expand upon it? Let's write up 'Rap sheets' on brand dresses that lied and coaxed their way into our wardrobe! Warn another plus-sized lolita before they take the plunge.
Name: AP's Mary Gingham JSK
Photo:
Offender: Angelic Pretty
Crimes: Awkward, unforgiving shirring placement (1st degree)
Description: Double D's means Double Dang-it's in this case. Lolibrary posts this adorable sweet/country JSK as having a generous 110 cm bust and a 85 cm waist. That's fine and dandy, until the shirring lifts up so high that the waist hits just under the bust and the hem rose well above my knees and dangerously high up my thigh.
Ultimate Fate: Rehabilitation. It was traded away to a wonderful girl that I knew it would fit, and would flaunt it proudly.
