ANNOUNCEMENT: We are going to be setting our Japan based branch on indeterminate hiatus at the end of July.
My friend and I run a shopping service together and have been doing so for a few years now. She lives in Kobe, close to Sannomiya and Osaka and conducts in-store shopping as well as all mailing for items from Japan. I live in the US and will do in-store shopping for anything I can buy here as well as all the online and auction purchases. In the case that an auction or online purchase needs to be shipped from Japan, my friend will take care of only the receiving and shipping of the item(s). I take care of all communications and all receipt and dispersal of funds.
I had a shopping service for Q-pot in Hawaii before it closed and still have a shopping service for a range of other goods. I am still able to purchase items from the Q-pot and other brand online shops (in Japan or shops shipping to the US or Japan) or physical stores. I have some US customers who keep Japanese magazine subscriptions through me and I can special order any that the shops here do not regularly carry. Please feel free to contact me if there's any way I can help you out. For any item that you don't know the price for, I would be glad to find that out so don't be afraid to ask! I can also check on auction sites; acceptance at my own discretion. For Japanese auction sites, I prefer to use Y!Japan but will also use mbok and Rakuten.

I have access to a few wholesale fabric factory warehouses and importers and can purchase fabric at very cheap or reasonable wholesale prices.
Tons of loliable and Japanese fabrics abound! We also have a few locally produced fabrics designed with Japanese street fashion in mind.
For buyers within the US, this is a great deal since the US offers very reasonable flat rate shipping options.
CRAFTERS/SEAMSTRESSES COMMISSION RATE
$1.50/yard for cottons and cotton blends (i.e. quilter's cotton, batiks, muslin)
$3.50/yard for all other fabrics (i.e. brocade, faux fur, polyvinyl, etc.) due to weight and bulk
$.50/ea trims and notions regardless of length *tasseled/bulky pieces may be more*
$1 each patterns set
I may offer a discount for full-bolt purchases, but if I am able to get one from my suppliers. I would charge regular rate and apply the discount as a refund or shipping credit after.
Special imports and orders may be requested: Please supply swatch and/or brand, name of print, and any other information if possible.
Kimono fabrics and imports of brands such as Cosmo Textiles may start at $15/yard up to $55/yard retail if not available through wholesale.

All fees must be covered by buyer. Euro, British Pound Sterling, Yen, Australian Dollar, and US Dollar are accepted through Paypal, US dollar and Japanese yen preferred.
Cash and money order/cashier's cheques will be accepted and are sent at the seller's own risk. Tracking or certification on the envelope is recommended. All money orders and cashier's cheques are subject to a 7-10 business day hold.
All store-holds require a non-refundable 50% deposit.
All online orders require 100% pre-payment before the order will be placed.
Additional shipping charges will be assessed after order has been finalized if parcel exceeds shipping estimate if given.
Refunds
Full refund given only in the case of an item being out of stock. Refunds given minus base non-refundable Paypal fee and transportation fee if applicable.
Refunds may also be counted as credit towards shipping or future purchases if preferred.
