it's more like the widest part of the shoulder. I should probably add that my biceps are about 11 inches and the sleeves are a bit tight on me, so if you have arms any bigger, they'd be uncomfortable. It's a strange idea, but if no one else wants and can buy the blouse by next Tuesday, I'm willing to settle for a down payment of $30 then ship it to you, and if it doesn't fit you in any way, I can refund the $30, otherwise, you can pay the rest ($20) if it does.
