sketch help?
Hi! I've been lurking the main comm for a few months now and, well, I have some sketches I'd like an opinion on.
I admit right off I am no expert on the fashion and I am a relative newbie to it. So, what I need is some brutally honest critique on these designs from people who are more experience with the fashion than me.
Bear in mind that these are sketches and do not have color, nor are the intended finished product. This is basically for my reference when I go to do the actual drawings. My notes on each are below.
1. Top left - Vest and shirt
2. Top right - intended to be white or off white with pink ribbon, pink or very light blue trim and small, delicate lace. Pocketwatch print, bunny handbag, headband with another bunny head. Intended to be worn with white, closed-toed shoes and solid white stockings.
3. Bottom left - This is probably not lolita at all, but it was interesting to draw. Dark blue coat with white or yellow lining and brass buttons, white undercoat with gold braid trim, white skirt, pale yellow vest. Shoes intended to be white or brown. Hat intended to be black.
4. Bottom right - Black dress with white blouse. Eye of Horus and reed print intended to be metallic gold.
Any and all feedback is appreciated. Including redlines.
