Brolita is the combination of the words Bro and Lolita, and in the past had been used to indicate the gender identities of male lolitas. But, lolita is for everyone regardless of gender in this case. For that reason brolita is a term that isn't used as much as at the heart, boy lolitas are lolitas and do not need a separate category to belong in the lolita umbrella.
Therefore when you're shopping on lolita fashion sites, there will be no brolita tag- brolitas are lolitas. So their clothing is lolita clothing, it is not any different.
If you're having problems with sizing due to your height and build, you may want to look into Plus size lolita options, there's a lot of beautiful options out there.
My favorite sweet lolita brand and the brand behind the blue dress you like here is Metamorphose temps de Fille. They offer a wide range of sizing, including plus and plus plus sizing. They are more expensive first hand, but their quality in my opinion is worth it. You can also purchase secondhand, that's how I got this dress.
And to answer your question, I didn't get this tailored to fit me. The shirring of this dress allows for people of various sizes to wear it, and to have it form to their body shape.
The important thing to look at when picking a JSK is your waist and chest size in cm, if your going for an OP you will want to measure your shoulders as well :)
