Absolutely! I think it is such a great prompt. I made a post about clearing out 35% of my wardrobe here is you fancy a read http://flissyjoy.livejournal.com/805.html -I find Lacemarket the easiest way to sell as I can list easily from my phone. Do you think you will make your sales post? xx

Has anyone ever sold a dress, realized how much they missed it, and tried to find again?

Last week I was on lacemarket, going through the AP category where I spotted Fantasy Theater in ivory. It was the a set (headbow incl) and the price was really good.
I recognized the seller's username in a previous sale of my own to them, where I sold them.....Fantasy Theater in Ivory!

So I basically bought back the original dress and headbow - which were purchased from AP at the release.
I'm so happy, this jsk was chosen by my mom and has sentimental value for me.

In one sesne.

If I had thought of doing a DT instead of a DS..

I got Meta's Honey Picnic LP in pink. Not ugly by any means. I do love the colour, but I wanted the mint version. And I've been looking hi and lo for it. I'm not giving up hope!!

I sold my Princess Wardrobe high-waist JSK, thinking I could get the longer-bodiced JSK instead. I am now desperately trying to find someone to trade my Lace Up jsk back for the high-waisted version again. ;w; I have terrible seller's remorse.

Anyone have advice for a circa 2006 oldbie that is just coming off of a two year hiatus? What other places do people congregate now, who do people sell their stuff, what have I missed???
Please tell me people don't just use tumblr, I hate tumblr for community stuff...

OTT Classic is very popular now as well as longer lengths (more A-line) and the addition of underskirts.
AP's torsos have shrunk and they LOVE high waisted cuts (much to my chagrin :-[) .
Also LaceMarket.net is a big Sales comm, along with Facebook sales community. Secondhand market actually has stabilized pretty well.

In addition to thehockeyviper's comment, regarding communities (besides tumblr and instagram), many people stick to various pages on facebook such as local comm pages, Closet Of Frills (which is a bit like a renewed version of daily_lolita, meant for sharing OOTDs), Rufflechat, and Lolita Updates.
There are many more pages to explore but those are the ones that spring to mind at the moment.

My birthday's pretty much next week, and my mom is taking me on a shopping trip for my major present. (Sadly not lolita, but I do need an update to my normie wardrobe.) Any US lolitas have good shop recommendations for accessories that work in and out of lolita? I'd like to pick up some versatile pieces. :)

Also, hello again! ^^ I kind of went on hiatus, I think my last post was a year or so ago. (When I was still kind of ita-ish O.O)
