Shonnycake's 2016 Lolita wardrobe post!
Hello everyone!
This is my second year in a row posting my Lolita wardrobe. You can see my previous post from last year here: http://egl.livejournal.com/19876713.html
Since last year my style and wardrobe have changed greatly! I spent most of 2015 not wearing Lolita and selling off all my random pieces to focus more on a minimal wardrobe with main pieces that I can make multiple coordinates from by using a small selection of bags and shoes ect :) I love prints with animals or flowers in them as you will be able to see in my photos below.
This is the difference in my wardrobe in the last year :)
I was able to get several of my dream dresses and after going through my wardrobe to take these photos I have a small pile of things to sell to help my wardrobe to continue to head into the right direction.I sold almost all of my Bodyline apart from a few pieces I have sentimental attachment to and apart from shoes I don't plan on buying from them again.
I have spent all of January packing and moving house. Originally I had decided not to make this post but had a change of heart ( on the last day I had to make this post lol) So sorry the photos are a bit rushed. It was a weird lighting day here in Christchurch NZ and I only had my mobile phone to take photos on as my camera is still packed.
This is about 90% of my wardrobe. If you would like to see all my accessories and jewelry etc please see my last years post. I have reused a few of last years photos as I don't have a clue what boxes half my things are packed in.

Status:I adore the corset lacing and back bustle so much on this dress. I haven't worn it yet and am considering selling it as its a bit too fancy for me. I don't think I could pull the classic look off unless I covered up all my tattoos and took out my facial piercings.

Status:I really love this dress. It has touches of brown in the pattern which I love to match up with brown accessory for a more modern look. Its more a salmon then a pink and has glitter!

Status: Hnnnggg I adore this dress. The quality and fabric is above any other piece I have ever owned! I will be selling this though as I feel the same about it as my other classic dress. Its just to fancy for me. I have held onto it a while hoping I would change my mind but I think its time to let it go.

Status:This is my go to casual dress. It was really cheep from Bodyline and came with loads of loose threads and needed tidying up. Its a thicker fabric so its my winter casual go to dress. Can just be tossed in the wash as there is no risk of print runs and has nothing delicate on it that requires careful hand washing.

Status:These float my boat but I find the skirt portion to big, even with 2 petticoats under. I tend to wear these casually in my day to day wardrobe rather then in lolita.

Status:Im fairly sure Bodyline replicated this dress from another brand which goes against my moral compass. However its friking sailor and I wear these so much with my regular wardrobe and I use the Brown lots for steam punk.
