What with localised lolita fashion such as Wa lolita for Japan and Qi Lolita for China, I suddenly had the urge to make my own designs of localised lolita fashion for the Philippines. I was very disappointed and frustrated that the only brand that makes lolita clothing there happen to be DollDelight which aesthetically I find personally unappealing

1.I would get these commissioned if I couldnt sew myself.If you want the exact colours and patterns spoonflower is your best bet unless you know people locally.
2.Get 2 or 3 made and get a shoot done in a location which complements the co ordinate.
3.This could become the style people associate you with.For example when I think of Rinrin doll I think of colour on her fringe and on her hair tips.Get my drift? it's unique to her style.When I think of Misako Aoki I think of sweet understated make up & subtlety.
4.This is easier in theory than practicality and I'm just rambling but yea if you have the backing and finances you should totally do this.

Yeah commissions was the first thing that came to me since i'm not really well-versed in my local lolita community and I don't know if there are any Melbourne Fil-Australian lolitas willing to do a joint business venture maybe with regards to this style.
Aww, yeah! I'm personally a huge fan of RinRin and she's so distinct for her hair. *^w^* And I enjoy the fact that she's modeling for Angelic Pretty. <3 I would love to stand out in the way that lolita models do~~
It's great that you're sharing your ideas with me! It helps me with brainstorming too because honestly on my own I'm kind of stuck with this idea myself ^^;

Also I'm assuming you attend cons and lolita parties/events seeing as you're residing in the Phillipines? I think the first step would be to get at least one of these commissioned.Select everything well.I know there are companies that produce these on a mass scale if you collaborate with them.Choose the best materials but try and do everything locally.You could always get together with people from your local lolita community and ask if anyone is interested.

I actually haven't been in the Philippines for 12 years. I'm actually in Melbourne, Australia and I only really only started wearing Lolita for about a year. I haven't even mustered the courage to join the Melbourne Lolita community either so it's extra difficult to get started. >.
