Question: Lolita Everyday or ...
Hi, I just started Lolita recently and I wonder if everyone here wears Lolita everyday or just wear it to convention, meet-up or tea party

I have a lot of dresses in my closet but I rarely get the chance or happen to be in the right mood to wear it out.
I work as a waitress 3 days a week, and in an office another 3 days. While the office lets me wear whatever I want, I do way too much handling of products and moving around that it's not practical for me to be in a puffy expensive dress lol.
On my day off, I'm always doing chores or going to Ikea, so I don't want to risk damaging my dresses either ; ^ ; I tend to wear a lot of sweaters and jeans. Super causual!
I think if people are lolita at heart they they can consider themselves a lolita. If a person were to wear lolita once and never wear it again or think about it again, then they are not lolita.
BUT If they wore it once, love to follow the fashion and even if they can't buy the dresses or wear it often and they like to do the activities associated with lolita then I would say they are one.
Also it really depends if you want that lolita tag. I don't go to tea parties or have lolita friends, or even really wear it that often. I do love the fashion and I love seeing coordinates and new prints! The days I wear lolita are the days I will consider myself one, but if someone asked if I was one I would have to say no because I am not active enough as one in my opinion. It's all about... context and what you think lolita is!
