Helsinki Lolita Convention a.k.a. Hellocon will be organized third time in May! Our guest of honour is Angelic Pretty.
Helsinki Lolita Convention (also known as Hellocon), is an event for fans and lovers of Japanese lolita fashion. The event takes place on the 9th of May 2015 and it's held at Kulttuuriareena Gloria, Helsinki, Finland. The event is open from 10 am until 7 pm. The theme for this year is the mystical and colourful world of circus and carnevals! The program of Hellocon includes fashion shows, lectures, workshops, a lolita flea market, stalls and much more! ★ What is Hellocon? ★
Hellocon, or Helsinki Lolita Convention, is the biggest lolita event held in the Nordic countries and is arranged annually in Helsinki. The organizer of the event is Hellocon ry society. This year's event is the third edition of Hellocon, which was attended by 300 people last year. The program consists of lolita centric activities such as fashion shows, lectures and workshops. Hellocon also offers an opportunity to purchase Lolita clothes directly from the manufacturing brands. The event is non-profit and organized by volunteers. The event is held at Kulttuuriareena Gloria, Pieni Roobertinkatu 12, Helsinki, Finland. It's a short walk from the central railway station and the city center. Get more information from our website!
★ Guest of honour ★
We are super excited and happy to announce that one of the most popular Japanese Lolita brands, Angelic Pretty, will be attending Hellocon! Angelic Pretty is known for their cute and enchanted fashion that makes girl’s dreams come true. Angelic Pretty designers Maki and Asuka will be presenting the brand as our guests of honor and will attend the main event and the Tea Party.
Angelic Pretty will be presenting their newest garments in their own fashion show in the main event, which is a unique opportunity to see the outfits before their release! Maki and Asuka will also take part to a Q&A session where our visitors can ask them questions and hear the stories behind the brand. The Tea Party guests will have a unique opportunity to meet Maki and Asuka in person in meet&greet.
★ Program ★
The program will be mostly in English. There are a couple of workshops in Finnish only (see the descriptions below the schedule). If you want to participate to them, please ask for a translator beforehand (ohjelma.hellocon@gmail.com). You can also ask for a translator at the information desk in the main event, but you have to do so at least 30 minutes before the program starts.

★ After-party ★
When Hellocon ends, the fun is just beginning! Hellocon after-party will be held in Kulttuuriareena Gloria after the main event on Saturday (exact time will be reveled later this winter). The program will continue in the evening, so get ready for an exciting party with great company and dancing! You can enter for free with a Hellocon ticket. The party is exclusive for Hellocon visitors for couple of hours, and then the doors open for others. You have to be over 18 years old to attend. More info coming soon!
★ Tea Party ★
We are delighted to invite you to Hellocon Tea Party to spend a lovely Sunday afternoon in the wonderful company of fellow lolitas! Tea Party is held on Sunday 10th of May 14:00 - 18:00 o'clock. This year the tea party will be held at the Theatre museum and you will experience its magical atmosphere! The tea party ticket is 45 € and you have to buy it separately.

The party offers a breather after the main event and provides an excellent opportunity for you to mingle with other lolitas in a relaxed atmosphere! The program will include an opportunity to meet the guest of honor, a bingo, time to browse the exhibitions of the museum and of course a feast of delicious sweet and savory pastries and delicacies.
The theme for the Tea Party is Fairytale Theatre to suit the unique atmosphere of the museum! Dressing up according to the theme is not mandatory, but styles such as lolita and aristocrat or another kind of dressy outfit is advisable.
