Infanta Dark Magic Party review :D:D:D

Hello all :D
I am bubulala from Singapore.

Recently I've purchased the Dark Magic Party JSK from Infanta and
thought it would be good to post a review here for reference, eg. sizing etc.. :D

This is my first time buying Lolita outfit heee~
My height is 166cm and am weighing at 49kg.

What I've bought:
Dark Magic Party JSK - Black - Size M
Moon's Elegy Blouse - Black - Size M
Dark Magic Party Hairband
Violent(暴力 -that what the seller calls it lol)Petticoat.

I can't comment on the shipping and packaging as I used a purchasing service
for these items and I think they have repacked the stuffs.

Firstly, the blouse.

High quality chiffon and fantastic workmanship.
The frills are done nicely and are even on both sides.
The length of the blouse and sleeves fits just nice for me.
I love how detailed this blouse is with the frills and the pintucks,
not just on the bodice but also on the cuffs and sleeves, which u can see in the backview picture.
These detailing gives the wearer a flattering shape.
Infanta uses silver emblem buttons for this blouse.
Lacing with ribbed ribbon and loops at the back.
The loops are sewn into the double stitch lines you see so they are quite sturdy.
The only thing I have problem with is the loop button holes on the cuffs lol~
One of them is a tad small for the button which made it hard to
do up even with two hands, but still loop-able :D
The blouse comes with a beautiful, frilly ribbed ribbon(very long lol) for the collar.

Moon's Elegy

Now the JSK~ :D

The cotton fabric used for this dress, I am unable to do a comparison to other brands but
I will say it's of mid range quality?
The fabric is smooth and has a great fall as it does weigh a bit, but not the very thick sort.
It is ok for wear in sunny Singapore.
So far I had only seen one loose thread on this whole set hohohhho~
The dress is fully lined with fine satin, except for the shirring area, and both which are
double layered(same dress fabric), the panels beside it and the upper chest area.
The hem of the lining is layered externally with 20cm of soft pleated bling bling organza.
The prints, both graphics and stripes, are vivid and fine :D:D:D
The whites you see on this dress is actually cream, even for the laces on the front bodice.
The double layers of lace used at the hem is soft and springy lol~
very cute hearts dancing around when you walk.
The shirring is even and straight, laced with ribbed ribbons and flat loops doubled stitched into the seams.
The zip, is sewn nicely but I do have a little problem zipping it up, especially around the waist seam.
I think it should zip smoothly after some lubrication.
The length of this dress, mentioned 90cm on the site, falls just nice at my knee where the lace ends.
The dress comes with 2 detachable ribbons.
The bigger one is of dress fabric, with deliberate and even positioning of the stripes which is great!!
If it came unbalanced, no worries, the ribbon is adjustable.
The embroidered stars are well made.
The smaller one is of checkered satin, which is weird because
I thought the smaller ribbon I see on the site is made of velveteen... (O_o )?
And as you can see in the pic, it is kinda squished.

Dark Magic Party

Hairband~

It is very well made, with pleated lace and is double layered with metal inserts at the seams
for shaping the ribbons.
It is a little heavy but wearable.
The ribbon is adjustable for placement in the center or at the side~
I find the band a little small for me... might just be due to my egg-shaped head with the two 'corners' thus affecting the fit.
Again, love the deliberate and even positioning of the stripes for best visual.

Hairband

Lastly, the petticoat.

It is very well made too and very very poofy(wrong angle used for the pic lol) even when
it is just one layer of organza.
The same bling bling pleated organza was used and I have never seen so much gathers in my life lol~~
So much that the fabrics are overlapping here and there.
But yet everything is so even and the whole hem is finished with overlock stitch~!!
The petticoat is lined with and waistband is made of good quality polyester.
The whole petticoat is very lightweight and yet gives ample volume to the JSK.

Here is how they look when worn, just me trying on the whole assemble lol:

My conclusion:
Infanta's quality is really good for its pricing and I definitely will patronize them again!!
I interacted with the customer servicers directly from Taobao and they are very helpful with my every enquiry :D:D:D

Thumbs up for Infanta!!
