I have not bought from this person but this is just a comment in passing while you wait for someone who has. I looked at the Facebook page you linked and while the coat posted on top (the pink one) is alright...it's 500 euros for something really, really, REALLY basic. You could probably find a coat that looks exactly like that for 1/3 the price at your local department store. Aside for the fact that it's A-line (and many department store coats are), there's not much that says "lolita" about it so I wonder i it's really worth shelling out 500 euros for it? You could get a Lolita brand coat for less...and you could be assured of the quality.

Also, I scrolled down a lot and looked through her designs, on some dresses the seams are really crooked and badly sewn (the most obvious being a yellowish dress with black belt). Seeing seams that bad, I wouldn't really feel comfortable with anything that same seamstress did, especially something that costs *500 euros* The rest of the stuff labeled as Lolita looks very costume-like and her "perfect lolita dress" (self-labeled) is a mini dress. I think this is someone that might do well with "lolita-inspired" stuff outside of the Lolita community, but for an actual Lolita I don't think it really hits the mark...and again, 500 euros for a coat from a no-name designer who does bad seaming is really exorbitant when you could get a brand coat with a 1-year warranty and known quality for less. These are just thoughts upon seeing the page linked, as again I have not seen a garment in person, but it's stuff to think about while you wait. One last thing to keep in mind is that for individual designers who do everything themselves by hand, one garment could be great and the next could be awful so either type of review you might get wouldn't necessarily indicate the quality of what you would receive. For example, she said that the wool used in the coat is a wool she's only used once, so it could be feasible that she didn't do a good job with it because she's not used to sewing with that fabric, whereas another coat of hers might be great. Sorry for the length of the comment, but..500 euros...I don't want you wasting your money. :/

just curious: why do you hate non-brand designers so much?

She's actually quite a well known designer in the Netherlands and has her own couture label...From what my friend said, she also came 2nd place in Project Catwalk. I'm not a designer or seamstress, nor do I have much experience/expertise with sewing so may I ask what makes you say that the seams on her dresses are crooked? I find it quite hard to tell from the pictures, especially when most of the dresses have a lot of folds and such.
I've contacted her and the wool that she uses seems of top quality. I'm interested in purchasing one of her coats because they are 100% wool, which means that they would be super warm and hold up against the extreme winter we have in Canada...however, I'm undecided of whether I should just get one from Fanplusfriend, but I haven't found any Canadians who've bought a coat from them so I'm not sure if they'll be warm enough.
Thanks for your input, I really appreciate it!!

I'm sorry, crooked seams? You don't mean the ones on the bodice, do you..? That's how seams are supposed to look when you construct something similar to a corset...

I don't have personal experience, but I know plenty people who do. They all love her work. The only critique I've heard is from a friend who got a dress+underskirt. The underskirt was made from lace that started fraying after a few wears. She got back to Linda about it, and got a new underskirt at no extra cost.
She is very strict about the quality she delivers. There is no way she would send out a coat made of a material she'd only worked with once, if she didn't feel it was up to her usual standard.

Let's all just agree that if you don't know what you're talking about, you shouldn't recommend someone not purchase from a seamstress or shop.

Also, brand coats have 1 year warranties? Am I buying an ipod? Do I just email AP, tell them my frills stopped working and I need to upgrade to the new, more lacy model? "This coat is guaranteed kawaii for 1 year or your money back!"

I love how your 'comments in passing' are basically books, you must have a lot of free time.

Lol yeah it doesn't really seem like any of her dresses are short...they seem to be of regular lolita length. Perhaps it just appears short when she models them, but that is because she is also a model and quite tall!

I own the dress pictured above and I'm 165 cm tall and it ends at my knees :) No mini dress at all.

Why are you so invested in stopping people from trying to buy things? I've brought items from her multiple times, with no trace of laziness or bad sewing. You can't just tell how good the seamstresses skill or clothing is just by looking at the pictures. You stopped someone from buying a Bodyline coat, unaware of what she wanted, and now this? Is it some sort of complex you have, perhaps? Or maybe you honestly just want to seem like you know everything. All hail the Lolita Queen, ___ifwinterends.

She asked if anyone had ever ORDERED from them. You haven't, so you're just wasting OP's time. And it's not like you're saving her from a tragic cosplay lolita disaster, because these are lolita. Just because it isn't brand doesn't mean it can't be lolita. Also, it's none of your business how much money this girl wants to spend on a coat.
