Mine is also like that but yours seems to be fraying more you should try putting something like this on it. Thanks for pointing this out to me. I'm going to seal mine as soon as I can. That is definitely not the best way to do lace.

Sorry my camera is really blurry when I take close up photos and looks ever worse when i use my zoom cause its really old but I hope you can tell whats going on.

Thanks so much! Yes, I think it's been made the same, just overlapped and sewn down the side. It's cut neatly but I'm still not sure it's safe, even after Haenuli telling me that it doesn't fray even after washing. I'm definitely going to get some fray-sealant. I'm selling mine on as I'm less keen on the print in person (the green is really lurid even though I deliberately got the least lurid-looking colourway) but I'll pop to the store tomorrow and get some. We have Hemline and Prym brands here that do that type of sealant. I think it's more worrying to me that it's not just mine that's been made faulty, it's just how they usually make them. At least the raw edges are easily fixable with some sealant. I know it's likely futile but I'll probably email Haenuli with this information and some more pictures - the more feedback they get for their work the better they'll get hopefully!

Otherwise, dang, the print is nicely done!

I'm sure they will! I think they're shocked because nobody ever mentioned these things to them before but there's a first time for everything!

It's just a few niggles. It doesn't fit me nicely, it's brighter than I imagined, and it doesn't suit me after all. I'm not parting with it because I think it's bad, just not for me. I'm really glad that people are happy with theirs though! I feel like it actually looks better in the brighter colours after all! (You look absolutely lovely in your vid by the way!)
