Lolita panel first time at Anime Convention
I need advice on a lolita panel at a convention effecting our small lolita community
I am putting the finishing touches on a panel and fashion showcase getting my lolita community in more involved in the local anime scene and stepping out. new members are about to arise and I was wondering for places with a lolita community that is involved at an anime convention, how do you guys deal with exposing your local community to many people who have never herd of it before? we are a small community (we have a few non-active members, and only on average 10-15 show up for meet ups and about 20 active members online) and in the panel its hard not to talk about the online lolita community without mentioning the local lolita community. I think it'd be good for us to get new members, but at an anime convention i hope most of them are willing to learn more about lolita.
how does your community deal with new people that arn't lolita? or arnt quite there?
