Qutieland service: 4.5/5
i used the Qutieland service for it, they are good communication-wise. no problems with them, though the dress is marked up to $61+shipping ( $89 with shipping) while Dream of Lolita is $45, so next time if i ever wanna save on lolita dresses from taobao(or anna's house too) i'd usedollypoddle's shopping service. i couldn't be bothered this time around and i didn't know about her until recently! it would probably be quicker to get here if i didn't order near christmas and if i used dollypoddles service (took from oct 15 2011 to jan 4 2012 to get here).

for sizes: qutieland does custom sizing for several clothes. for this dress and i think many other dresses they have S, M, L, XL listed, but not XS though they have XS on the DoL taobao site.

these are the baggies it came in.

Flaws: (4.5/5)

i'm overall happy!

quality wise it's ok to me, i've taken a lot of pics so you can try to decide for yourself. (i've never had an angelic pretty dress, so i can't compare.)

there were some problems:
this jams and is pretty hard to get past..

(right there, where the skirt part of the dress starts) i can still get in it without needing to unzip past that point so it isn't the biggest deal to me.

(minor things) that irked me at first were were they used black buttons (and only blue+yellow+black) instead of pink-green-blue-yellow ones i'd seen on other replicas. (by the way, the picture on the stock has smaller buttons than the ones they use now, which i think is great if it was a nicer color. though i kind of like the black buttons now/can fix those.) also, they didn't have a bow at the collar like i've seen on stock and other replicas, but i don't really care about that much.
also wish the sashes at the back were double printed instead of printed on one side only.

* also the attachable/detachable apron kinda at the very tippy top doesn't stay up too well, it kinda folds over. i think it's fixable, making the buttons at the top tighter or something else. and quite a bit of loose threads which are snip-able.

comments: it's the blue version, but it isn't the same blue as the angelic pretty one (more muted) so it looks a bit like the White version of wonder cookie too. (which is what i wanted originally, at first i was sad they didn't have the White, but i actually think i like the blue color now more alice-y theme to it. so best of both words. also i think the white looks a bit like a pop tart these days. i wonder what it would look like in less dull blue though =3.)

it's a cute dress and i don't regret buying it. *i love it xD*

DETAILS: (lots of photos!)

Apron:

it's detachable by those buttons as you can see

this is the bow which you put on the apron at the waist part:

it could be made a good headdress/hair band/etc too!

a bobby pin

collar:

~*Sweet Angel*~

this is at the end of those ties at back, sewn on heart detail:

lace at bottom:

seafoam green eyelate lace trim thing at end. in the stock photos (which are awful, i would have never bought it from just those stock photos) the trim thing was white. i think the green makes it look nicer than white.

the attached petti:

it's a pleated petticoat

has lining underneath petti to keep it from scratching =3

the inside of the dress.. if anyone's curious:

it gives an A-line shape but probably looks best with another petti underneath. i'll include pictures of me wearing at end so you can see how it looks like worn=3

Close-up of prints:

last of all me wearing it =3 took with webcam cause i can't take a picture of myself with my camera well..

this is what it looks like worn, the attached petti gives it a bit of poofy A-line look

i don't have a petti yet =P and i'm fine with the way it looks anyways.

i imagine it could look nicer with a petti though, something like this.

well i'm done with my review =3

wonder if this dress will be the dawn of my future obsession with wearing lolita clothing..!

bye and have a good life!
p.s.and the reason why i did this review is because i would have never bought this dress without the help of reviews on lj =).

store: qutieland, *dream of lolita, review: brand replicas
