I *think* it's a cotton/poly blend. I've a few things from F+F and that's what it looks like to me.

As others said, it's like a cheap, thin polyester suiting. I have one item from them made of it, and yeah, it's not very nice... I also have a Bodyline blouse that feels like it's made of a similar (maybe slightly thicker) fabric.

Seriously girl that jewelry was like 4USD what metal did you expect?

I mean the earing backs/missing pearls and the JSK complaints are reasonable, but the blouse came as pictured! You can hardly complain about that. I am kind of surprised that they sewed the JSK improperly though. It doesn't seem like it would be too difficult and I've never had any trouble with them before.

The boning really should have been done properly. Persumably it is intended as outerwear and should seriously look good. I mean, it is quite an endevor, but still. I suppose for the price you might expect it though.

If you say you can make it better than make it better. If you're really that lazy put in the money to buy something with better quality.

She gave the blouse a 5/5... what did you want her to give it, a 6/5?

If you say you can make it better than (sic) make it better. If you're really that lazy put in the money to buy something with better quality.
._o This is a really strange comment. I'm a really good cook, but sometimes I want to eat out and want it to be cheap. Would I still complain if my $1 McDondalds burger was crap? Absolutely. OP wanted to warn potential shoppers that Fanplusfriend's jewelry and birdcage skirt are crap, and I'm glad to know!

My point is if you're going out to eat, especially if you're going somewhere like McDonalds where the burgers cost 89c then expect to get something worse than what you might make at home! If you want McDonalds get McDonalds, if you want a well seasoned burger, go somewhere else or make it yourself.

I have a few pieces from F+F and it seems like they are very much a hit or miss. I have an AP replica skirt and a simple JSK, along with a petti and I love them all very much. I also have bloomers of theirs. The quality for me has always been excellent and the only problem I have is that the waists of my things are very small and can be uncomfortable sometimes. I love the pettis but they are pretty short (I'm 5'1'' so it goes to my knees but my taller friend tried it on once and it was waaayyy too short).

Anyway, I feel you. My friend got something and it was the kind of thing with the dress where it wasn't horrible but it had problems that it shouldn't have had.

Anyway yeah sorry about your hoop skirt and this long reply but in short it's basically "I agree with you."

Thanks, and I agree with the hit and miss. I found it odd how a few of my things were kind of sloppy, but then others were exactly the same as they looked in stock photos. Plus, lace quality. The blouse lace, while not my favorite design, is actually pretty nice, while the JSK lace is scratchy and cheap. I haven't tried any of their petticoats, but I'm very particular and had to go through at least 3 before I found the one I really like (the Dear Celine one I showed in the review, which is actually a replica of an Angelic Pretty one). Luckily the problems I had were either fixable or hide-able.

It's crazy with them, but they are LOVELY and you can send things back and exchange them. My friend's pants had the wrong sizing and she mailed them back and they gave her new ones in the right size, so just email them.

About the birdcage petticoat, it seems that the steel hoops of your petticoat didn't open enough, they should be adjustable, the hoops perimeter can be elongated or shorten for different volume. Just try to open the hoops completely?

I wish that were the case. I did make sure to stretch the channels as soon as I opened it, and what ended up happening was about a 5 inch gap where there was no steel at all. The fabric was cut much longer than the steel. That is, unless there's a trick I don't know.
