I don't have anything against your drawing - I like your clear lines and the way you draw, it looks very natural! - but I'm just going to say here that it might be very delicate to place your furry art here. There have been some heated discussions about furries in lolita, so... I just thought I'd let you know :)

I think the main problems people on egl have with furries is their bringing in of fetish to the fashion, and their misuse of animal ears in real life with the fashion. Since this invokes neither of them, I doubt anyone will be too angry.

I would just like to add some not very well known 411...

Not every furry (this is a big pet peive of the furry comms) is in it for the "fetish" scene. I am more into the cartoony type. So s@x, even though it is treated as a daily relations topic, is realy not a huge factor for most furries.

I hope I am not comming across wrong. I just wanted to provide some 411 from one genre to another.

I completely understand. I was actually trying to point that out. I have a few furry friends, and while some of them are into it for the fetish, plenty of them just like the idea of a "fursona." I think fursonas are fun and harmless, so I'm always annoyed when people are like OMGZ YOU HAVE A FURSONA YOU MUST BE SICK!

Slightly OT:
As you can prob tell, I am a house cat. I used to be a skunk/tiger/squirel mix, but then i fig house cat was prob pretty close to the real me anyways. it's how I am most comfortable.

same. I am a furry too, but it's not 411 I freely give out bc most lolis (including myself) try to keep ANYTHING costumy away from lolita.

I do agree, it is a nicely done drawing. I am a fan of Eric Schwarts and Max Blackrabbit.

I'm a cosplayer rather than a furry, but I know what you mean. I try to keep my cosplaying seperate from my lolita because I know that some people tend to make assumptions about cosplayers making bad lolitas who don't care about the rules and make it costume-y and such.

I think it's mostly because, as beforementioned, a lot of furry's take their fetish (if they have it) here, and even though we are generally very accepting, it's still quite a taboo. I have to admit that I'm not fond of it either, but there are a lot more people with very expressed feelings about this. I guess it's something that isn't really accepted yet :) But just do whatever you want to do - as long as it makes you happy! XD

Adult fetish should stay in the bedroom. It makes me mad when peeps bring out their adult fetishes out at cons during the day. That should abe a behind closed doors thing.

I'm glad you think about it like that ^^ I think so too - I have no problem with furries, I have problems with the fetish. It's just a big misunderstanding I guess, with most people thinking that furries are automatically part of a fetish. I'm glad you handle the comments like this ^^
