Ok, that's weird. That says the only packages that are being embargoed are those being routed through Yemen or Somalia, and I don't think I've ever had a package from Japan Post routed that way. It usually comes through Alaska or CA. I wonder why they chose to stop shipment on all items?

I recently read something about bombs being sewn inside of dead animals, and other recent nasty stuff due to terriorests trying to bypass current security measures.

i wonder if jlist.com and other such sites are affected?

my guess is each carrier have decided on severity of restrictions and stops separately.
