While winter isn't officially here (for those in the northern hemisphere) it has been quite nippy. I've found that bloomers made from a cozy thick fabric keeps me toasty warm!
So I was considering offering custom sized made to order flannel bloomers.
lol please excuse the slightly wonky sketch.
They will be made of your choice color of flannel with an elastic waistband, and double ruffle bottom. The colors I am considering are: white, black, cream, pink, red, baby blue, lavender, and mint.
Basically is anyone interested? My current plan is to sell them for about $25
Also I've been playing around with offering made to order bodice brooches (lol I can't think of any better name, ideas?).
Basically they are those pretty strings of beads that pin onto the bodice of your dress or jsk to make it even more fancy!
Here are some design ideas
These are the most basic designs, handmade glass bead or glass pearl chain accented with matching drops that clips to grosgrain ribbon bow pins.
To start with I'm thinking of offering clear and black faceted beads as well as white glass pearls.
The metal colors offered will be silver, gold, and bronze. And I'm thinking of black, white, pink, light blue, red, green, purple, navy, and mint for the ribbon colors. As the "brooches" will be removable from the ribbon pins, you will be able to order additional bow pins in another color.
These are some other designs featuring charms. These will only be offered (to start with) in the antique gold/bronze tone. The middle design will require little rings or thread loops to be sewn on the dress, so is more complicated XD
These are the charms I've picked out, I think they are really lovely!
So again, please let me know if you are interested! This will take some money for the initial supplies so I eager to hear what you think!
Whew! That all said I also have some updates.
I've decided to sell the dress I wore in my recent
Halloween photoshoot, so it has been added to the Couture section of the
Lily of the Valley website.
Also I've added a new tutorial for bow shoe clips, and am in the progress of adding a raspberry macaron tutorial today.
Edit: The Macaron tutorial has been added!
Finally for those intrested in the Sweet Matryoshka line, I have posted an update about it in our
blog.
