Are there limits on photo taking like there is in the MET? Or is there more freedom outside?

No flash photography is allowed inside the buildings themselves, but I don't think there are any restrictions on taking photos in the gardens.

As far as the "official" photos, the informal photo session will probably be outside in front of the Cloisters' main entrance or in the park which surrounds the Cloisters. Sadly all of us can't take over the gardens inside for photos, or the Cloisters people will get annoyed.

I'm going to put myself as a maybe, if anything I'll probably just get my own ticket there since it'll be free for me, and just meet you guys inside. I know how I'm going to be with getting there "on time" xD

I'm not sure if I'll be dressed in gothic or you know, those types of colors but I can see what I can do. If anything I'll just come in regular clothes, or just be the obnoxious one in pink with the group xD And just not take pictures. (And then you all can stare at me with gothicy anger and hope I'll wake up the next night with bat shit all over my face among other random 'gawthicy" things I can't think about xD)

And then I forgot to answer the second part: sorry! I think we're good on Cat. I got your info and we'll see you with him tomorrow! :D (He's grumpy because we had to stop feeding him last night and can't feed him until tomorrow morning due to the surgery, so he'll be very happy to get taken to someone who will feed him, unlike us meanies. ;) )

Thanks for your interest and question: You can also mail me cash or a money order too, but I need the payment before we go to guarantee I'm not out your money the day of if you decide not to come and I have to pay for you.

A few years ago I was actually thinking of planning a meet at the Cloisters. I'm really glad a meet is going on there, it's like a treasure trove of beauty.
