I like your coordinates! Cute ideas!

And I'm sorry for the people above whom are not respecting your wishes regarding critism.

It's not that we don't respect her wishes, read more carefully.

No one said her drawings are bad, it was questioned 'if you do not wish to receive criticism, how does publicly posting them help you improve as an artist?'

Not respecting her wishes would be to criticise her whether she likes it or not. Nobody is doing that - we're just saying that some criticism might even be useful.

She asked for no criticism and others are questioning the request. IMHO that's disregarding her wishes.

Thank you. The last time I didn't request for no criticism, and I kinda got upset. So I figured this time I would just post my new stuff. I'm not fishing for compliments, I don't get many anyway :P

Well I'll keep that in mind next time :P That requests aren't respected. I showed my brother my last post and he suggested I request no crit. I did. It didn't go so well. Sorry geez.

Since when is the sole purpose of posting things on egl to get criticism or compliments? O.o; Sometimes people just want to share, you know.

Your life, it is very black and white. :P

No, it's not. Please to be learning what respect it.

Please respect my wishes while I beat up small children and don't ask me why I'm doing it.

Thank you very much!

Yeah. The last time I got criticism here, it hurt, because she was telling me stuff I already knew, you know? And I dunno, I usually post my art to share, not to start debate.

Maybe because I didn't want to? I have more time to practice on new pieces than to just continue on one piece that I can't fix no matter how good. Look, I love my artwork, and I know there's stuff wrong with it, but I wanted to post it anyway.

I'm not trying to be rude here, but, why would you want to post something when you KNOW it's not your best work? I don't want something I rushed through and which looks sloppily put together put out as a representative of something I accomplished in pretty much every area of my life. This is always something I never understand with people who say this kind of thing, and I'm honestly curious. Why would you put something out when you know it's flawed and unfinished, not to the best of your abilities, when you could take just a little more time and do it right or the best you can do?

um well you can still practice that same concept on a whole new piece. Such as fingers and arm lengths, it can still be practiced as rough sketches or other drawings that still have somewhat of the same concept.
