sad the weekend is over
had an awesome weekend. friday chiled out... i got confused about the night of rae's bday dinner, so i ended up missing a dinner w/kdphi's. =( but we're having a potluck mid-Nov, so i def will not miss that one. saturday went to the gym, pho place, costco, raemy's bday dinner. sunday went to church, lunch @ morristown diner, then headed to great adventure w/jack, phil, and armie. rode nitro, kingda ka, skull mountain, and batman. then haunted trail. kinda pissed b/c #1 the trail was not even scary, and #2 they no longer have the haunted house or haunted hayride. wtf? my first time at fright fest and they no longer do the haunted house/hayride!?! but kingda ka was soooo worth it!!! it's the tallest and fastest coaster on earth. it sucked that it was only 10 seconds long though. next time i go to GA it will def be in Oct b/c the lines are alot shorter.
i joined a life group at church. we're meeting this thursday in branchburg i believe. it's a group for couples so i hope that jack and i will make new friends and hopefully develop some great relationships with our fellow church members. my church is awesome. the pastor always has a great message, events are open to all, people are super friendly, and the band rocks! check it out - www.liquidchurch.com. i'm still teaching sunday school at chodae, but only once a month. liquid is great b/c they have 3 different services to fit everyone's schedule: 10:30, 4, and 6:30. i'd love to go to guatemala, but i don't think i can commit this year, maybe next year!
jack got the stratton x2 card for me, which saves you $30 midweek, $20 weekends and $10 holidays plus it comes with one free lift ticket. we're also going to brenckenridge jan 28-feb 2! so excited...!!! not sure about killington, not sure if december 14 there will be too many trails open (it's 70 degrees today), plus these trips are all adding up fast. i'm going to try and restrain myself from getting any new gear, though it will be pretty difficult.
