HAPPY BIRTHDAY 2
ry_diggaHAPPY BIRTHDAY 2 U!
Let's chill at that billiards place next to Tastee's soon. I like drinking their free coffee and spending $20 on the jukebox there.
Update on life:
church has been great.
liquid was awesome and i had a very blessed easter weekend.
work has been... blah!! only got to go to one session of
SES and it's just been whatevers. i was a wreck every morning and hated spending money on coffee for about a week until we got new
keurig coffeemakers. they're aiight but i miss the
flavia ones. the new ones just don't seem to brew strong enough coffee!
relationship has been =) happy! today is our unofficial 1 year anniversary! my how time flies.
my hair needs to be cut, but i cannot find a salon. the salon i used to go to and LOVE raised their price. they used to charge $40 so plus tip i would pay $50 but now they charge $50, so with tip it's $60. *sigh*
working out has not happened in a while, but i have been doing these hop things to tone my legs/thighs as well as this other ab move daily. i dropped 5 lbs but i'm not sure which scale to believe. the balance scale at bally's always says i'm fat. the digital bathroom scale at home fluctuates anywhere from 5 lbs less to fat. the balance scale at the doctor says i'm fat. today the one at home said i was 5 lbs less, though when i got home i was still 5 lbs less, and just now i am only 3.5 lbs less. which one is right?!
dieting has been more than difficult. last weekend i went to eat at
green grill (brazilian bbq buffet) for ron's bday dinner. i wasn't going to eat that much but i ended up eating a ton of food (mostly fruits and veggies though i did try some chicken and even took a nibble of chicken heart... YUCK). that place is awesome. i'm not a red meat eater, but i did like the buffet food. the fruit was especially fresh and delicious. today was a terrible diet day. it was my day off. i had a curry doughnut and an apple pastry at
parisienne for breakfast, burger king big fish and a few fries for lunch, and dinner at church which consisted of yummy korean food in mass quantites along with mini cheesecake with mint and fresh berries. got home and had a haagen-dazs ice cream bar and 3 thin mint cookies. i figured i might as well keep going while i'm at it today. i miss real food, but i need to tone up for reals. been trying to find a mountain bike and some rollerblades on craigslist. latest most interesting/good food i've tried (besides the delicious buffet at green grill):
- hunan wok chinese take-out in cedar knolls. surprisingly very tasty and flavorful.
- kati roll aka the kati roll company on 46th near 6th ave. delicious indian "fast food" and so cheap too!
- lucky's famous burgers on 52nd b/w 8th & 9th. greasy but decent turkey burger for $5.
- vynl on 9th ave b/w 50th & 51st. i had the brioche french toast w/sauteed apples & caramel sauce, yummmmm.
- subway's veggie sub. my way: lettuce, tomatoes, hot banana peppers, green peppers, olives, spicy mustard, light mayo, vinegar, pepper, oregano.
