VOTE, DAMMIT!
So seriously, Vote. I want you to vote. I'd like it if you'd vote the guy I'm voting for because I want him to run the country, but more than that I want you to KNOW who you are voting for. I want you to pick the president with as much care as you would a babysitter for your child, just with different criteria. You should know who you are voting for and not just picking a "team", a race, a gender or a religion.
If those factors are important to you, then pay attention to them. But if you give a damn about a single issue, I want you to vote for someone who says what YOU believe on the issues, and VOTES that way too. Consistently. Don't pick your candidate from sound bites and propaganda. Research them. Take a HALF HOUR to find out what you need to know to be comfortable voting for someone. Find out what you like about the candidate, and find out what you DON'T like too.
This is not a question for the magic 8 ball, and you cannot let the TV tell you so-and-so can't win, or so-and-so is sure to win. The person you vote for is the one who will win. If you really believe, donate money to their campaign. Go out and tell other people why you're going to vote for them. MAKE A DIFFERENCE. GIVE A DAMN.
