Does Christmas get worse every year? Cause it definitely has gone downhill as of this year. First of all, I spent all my money on silly things so I didn't have much left for xmas presents. I spent 20 dollars on a 14 dollar pizza because I was too scared to ask for change. Then I spent 30 dollars on a Perkin's gift certificate for Elizabeth Jiles' Bday with my charge card and forgot about it until a week later when they finally claimed it. For this reason I had 37 dollars instead of 87 dollars when I checked my balance at the mall. So, sadly, my Mommy gave us our Christmas money early so we could go spend it all on presents for other people. She did get us a couple gifts, but we knew what they were and we even wrapped them ourselves. We have nothing to look forward to on Christmas morning now! Today we had Christmas Eve dinner and it consisted of chicken, stuffing, and salad. Chelsea made the salad, but we apparently lost the tomatoes, so all it had was lettuce and croutons. There is no possible explanation of where they went, unless the cat ate them. I made the stuffing 30 minutes early because I used a 5 minute mix instead of aging bread crumbs, picking herbs from the garden and making a stuffing casserole, as my Dad had expected. On Friday (the last party day before family time) we had a nice arts and crafts night at the Lamar house. We decoupaged and painted all night and then watched some Creationist videos! Yesterday we realized that the top half of our Christmas tree doesn't light up and we still have no star. Outside, all of the snow is melting, and Santa can't drive his sled without snow!!!

We have been having less than a ball this week but I am looking forward to watching the BBC version of Narnia tomorrow at my grandma's house. Other than that, I'm basically looking forward to Christmas being over so Cade can take me to Red Lobster for my birthday! This is a sad sad tale :(
