This chapter is actually pretty mild compared to those that came before it... I kind of feel like a bad dark!fic author, but this needed to happen because it introduces the second main character (of an eventual three) and sets up a couple of important and very dark chapters that will occur soon.
This is meant to be kind of smooth and inactive, the calm before the storm.
Teaser: There are four other characters (closely related to the Inu-tachi and their journey) that I did not kill. One will be vital to the plot, and one will be important for the story's progression and resolution. But I'm not saying who or how or why just yet. :D
I will be crossposting this to iy_bsides and inuyasha_fanfic in a day or so, so expect some random pimpage.
