Looks like Emily will be going to the snow!!!
Its getting organised for the whole family (inc. sevrin and my boy) to go down on ~o0o~Friday the 13th~o0o~ and im so excited. I didnt get a chance to go down lastyear and have been missing my snowboarding quite severly. *sniffle* but

Hehe, dont worry, ive been saying the exact same thing to everyone i know whos been going. I just cant believe im finally one of them... i thought id have to wait until atleast nextyear.

Yeah, i used to ski... but there wasnt really any challenge anymore, so i took up snowboarding and have never looked back. :)

You can ski for 25 years and learn new things but with snowboarding you can learn it for a year and thats it..

I just got to a point with skiing (id been doing it since a very young age) where i kinda knew everything (except extreme tricks and such) and just wanted something new. From experience ive personally just find that snowboarding is alot more fun. :-)

Goodluck hun! Oh and dont be discouraged for the first few days, theyre mainly spent on your ass... though definately get atleast one lesson if given the chance. I only had one and found the rest came naturally. The main reason i started was because my brother couldnt handle the first day and we had a spare snowboard to use.
