I have spent my day looking after two beautiful babies.
The other accomplishments I made today include finding time to take a shower, put a frozen pizza into the oven and eat the entire thing, and I found time to spend on the computer while one girl slept on my lap and the other was being bounced in a bouncy chair with my foot. If my foot stopped, she started screaming, so who am I not to follow orders? I know I have lost all sense of being the boss in this house!
In addition to this, I tortured both kids by making them watch American Apprentice with me while feeding them. These kids are like me and like to eat all the time! Every 3 to 4 hours through the day and the night! I might like to eat all day long, but at least I don't continue eating every 3 hours during the night as well! I suppose a healthy appetite is a good thing.
They enjoy hearing me read them emails, journal entries and the current novel I'm reading called Death of a Red Heroine (which I would recommend). Forget the fairytales when they can hear about a murder investigation in Shanghai with an inspector more interested in literature than police work!
