The school kids seem to be adjusting to my new name, and they seem to be content with keeping it in its correct form for the minute, instead of creative variations including their favourites of: Miss Bam Bam Bos, Miss Van Hell Bos, Miss Boss, Miss Vending Machine, and Miss Van Winkle. Some, of course, still just call me "Miss." Don't worry, they are very creative and will have no problem making their own variations of my new name. I'll keep you updated.
I spent the morning helping prospective students throw pots on the potters wheel. It was Open Day, so I had to be at school as parents and students toured the school. Pounding clay into balls was very theraputic and enjoyable. School is going well so far. . . a few discipline issues, but, I suppose that's to be expected. I taught Chinese to the Special Needs class last week, which went alright.
Have you seen the wedding pictures? There are some fantastic ones! I'm really pleased with them! I had such a good time at the wedding, I think that someone else should get married so we can have so much fun again! Who wants to volunteer? I really liked seeing everyone. . .that was the best part! I wish I would have been able to spend more time with people though, because it was like a power-play couple of weeks!
I have to go and catch a bus. . . once I get internet connection at my house, then I'l be able to write more often. .. maybe by the end of september!
