I'm back from holiday, and it's been a really brilliant week!
It was thoroughly exhausting, but sooo much fun! We did sooo much that we hardly had a free minute!! But I have started knitting a gorgeous pram blanket for my baby - and i think the colours even match the pram! (shock horror!)
There were a couple of bad bits... our car broke down just as we pulled into my mother in law's road... The brakes started making interesting noises and got stuck.. was fun! So that meant the car spending a few days out of use while we got it sorted at the garage - it's all done now though! We also had an argument with Chris's bank - and have been told i need to write a letter of complaint to them... so guess what my job for today is? hehehe...
Other than that, the whole week was absolutely brilliant! Everyone is looking really well, and we were able to take Dave and Sharon (Chris's brother and his fiance) out for a meal on friday to celebrate their upcoming wedding (I will be too pregnant to attend). There were also two birthdays while we were up, so that was great fun! although a party for nearly 30 6 year olds is a little manic... even though it is a LOT of fun... only 6 years and 4 months and that will be me... eep! hehehe
I had been a little worried that I would get home and find that all my plants had died while i was away - but quite the opposite actually! My tomatoes are taking over the world (anyone want a tomato plant?? I have about 3000 now) my potatoes have grown HUGE, my parsnips have grown, the shallots and onions look about ready to overflow their pots, and I have even returned to a whole pot of mushrooms! The only thing i can't see from the window are the carrots - so I am not entirely sure what they're doing... but hey - at least i've got all the others growing well!!
I am now 23 weeks pregnant - there are only about 17 to go (well - somewhere between 15 and 19 is considered term... so goodness only knows when Nikkopher will decide to appear!) and my bump is now the size of a small moon... Every time I walk into a room, Chris's mum would look at me and then tell me that my bump had grown again, It's mad!!!!! Apparently I'm as big now as Chris's sister was when she gave birth to my niece... so it really is quite a large bump! Margaret (Chris's mum) says that by 9 months my bump will go through the door and 10 mins later my feet will follow... reckon i'll need a stick with a wheel on the bottom to support the other end of it and stop me topping over... hehehe
Anyway - that's enough randomness for the moment...
