Disneyland... Help!!
Okay so my Mom is taking me, Megan and the neighbor girl Crystal to Disneyland on Saturday for my birthday.
Here is the suuuper depressing part.
Crystal is 13 years old... Was adopted by a woman in Compton who ended up getting really bad diabetes, loosing her legs and a few months later, loosing her life. Her sister (who is in her 40's) lives next door to my mom and took her in. Crystal's sister (who is now her caretaker) has also been diagnosed with diabetes and is going through kidney dialysis. She might not live past a handfull of years. If she dies, Crystal literally has nowhere else to turn besides her sisters husband who doesn't get along with her. He's a good guy though and we really hope he will continue taking care of her.
Crystal has never been to Disneyland. I am way more excited about taking her than actually going! It's going to be so much fun.
Here is my skivvy though - Not sure if she'll have another chance to go in a long long long time so I really want to hit as much as we can with her... on a fucking Saturday.
I'm thinking a plan of action like this -
Since it's saturday, we're going to have to hit the kiddy rides first to get them out of the way. We could shoot straight through the park, hit the kiddie rides (peter pan, pinochio, etc. ) and then shoot up to...
Small world? Get that crap outta the way!
Continue to.. toon town from there. Get that whole thing done with!
From there we could arch across the right side down to materhorn and tomorrow land.
After crying silently that Star Tours isn't open yet, shoot across to the west end of the park to adventure, frontier, new orleans, etc. and try to finish there.
Would this work on a saturday? I just want to avoid the strollers as much as possible or just get them out of the way first.
