Here we are again with another j-web with our beloved Sho-chan
please enjoy~
Please don't take this out of my journal without my permission.
DO NOT claim these as your own. I spend a lot of time translating these, please be respectful.
My notes are in italic like usual (if I have notes at all)
Enjoy!
Hello.
It's me.
Kageyama.
Filming is going on EVERY DAY. (Sho says this in katakana, so I capitalized it for emphasis)
All of the sudden I thought...
Meat!! I need meat!!
so I decided to go to a yakiniku (grilled meat) place.
I secured a time and place with a classmate of mine from elementary school, and made reservations.
Then on the day of, this happened.
It was the day the first episode of "Nazotoki wa Dinner no Ato de" was airing.
When our work together for the day finished.
Ninomiya-san said this.
Nino:
"Hurry up!!
Nazodi is gonna start!"
When I looked at the clock, it was just past 8pm.
It seemed like the members
got in the cars one by one
so that they would make it in time before the show started.
(Although I saw them getting in the cars, I say "seemed like"
because after that it was not clear if all the other members were done with work.
Or, it could have been due to the fact that I was seeing the glass half full.) (Sho says that it could be due to the fact that he is wearing rose-colored glasses, which means he was only seeing the positive aspect of it instead of the negative -- I don't think this saying is very popular so I used the glass half full/half empty analogy)
On the other hand I had an unbelievable sense of happiness.
I myself, was feeling kind of guilty for going to get yakiniku.
(I already saw it yesterday...)
(And if I let this chance go, I won't be able to go out for food any time soon...)
So, while I made excessive excuses to myself, I headed toward the restaurant.
It's been a long time since I've gone to a steakhouse.
And just when I thought I should head home,
my cell phone rang.
When I looked at it it was a text message from Aiba.
>I saw your drama.
They solve the crime along with you, but I just didn't get it at all!
Kageyama is impressive.
(´■`;)
Er...
(´■`;)
Seriously...
It was a pretty big shock.
So much so that the fact that he had watched it, and had even gone to the trouble of messaging me just flew out of my mind.
※
The next day, when I confirmed it with Aiba-san...
It wasn't that
he "watched the whole thing, and still couldn't understand the show"
but that he "tried to figure out who the criminal was, but couldn't figure out who it was in the end"
so don't worry.
Ja pa neeze is harrrd. (again, Sho writes this all in katakana, giving it a kind of stiff, strange feeling when read. He also says this because when Aiba messaged Sho, the nature of the way Japanese is makes it so the contents of the message could be interpreted differently depending on the context)
So with all that out of the way, the first episode was aired without a hitch.
Please favor me from now until December m(__)m
...Oh.
We have been chosen to be the hosts for the white team on this year's Kouhaku as well.
Doing it for the second year in a row...
While I am surprised, most of all it is a great honor.
So once again, until the very last day of 2011,
Please favor me
