I was too lazy to post this yesterday. I forgot to post this yesterday.
Yay! So this week has been totally a lucky week so far!!
Not only did I have an awesome-filled weekend, I worked on Monday (which was okay), and then on Tuesday I had a super productive day.
I went over to TJ’s workplace and had lunch with him, Maren and Matt, which was nice, even though I had to cut it really short because of my online class.
Well, it literally took me 2 minutes to get from his place to MCAD.. all you do is turn left, then turn right, and you’re there. It’s amazing how close it is to MCAD. Well anyway, I got there, found a parking spot right away and went to my online class. Afterwards I worked on homework until 4pm. Kind of exhausting, but... you know... it happens.
I got home alright, and then ended up meeting TJ at the MoA because he wanted to pick up a used 360 controller they had over there and have dinner. So we did that... wandered around the new Best Buy which is too big lol and then we both ended up having Sbarro’s which was good, but there was a guy working there who would yell at people walking by. But not like the usual “Hey you want a sample?” yell, he would be like, “HEY. HEY SIR/MA’AM.” And then they’d look at him and then he’d point at them and wag his finger to make them come toward him, and then he just starts serving them.. I was completely mesmerized at this guy’s selling tactic. I really hate it when people are that forward lol..
Anyway, after that we went over to this oriental market that Brooke told me about on Sunday. It was conveniently called “Oriental Market”. Like we have enough of those already huh.. lol well anyway, I get over there and there’s Korean drama posters up on the window, so I go in and first of all, THEY HAD CC LEMON.
I AM A HAPPY GIRL.
So I grab that, and then go to the back of the store where they have this giant library of Korean dramas on VHS and DVD. They also had J-Dramas including “Lost Time Life” and “1 Pound Gospel” and that came out last season, so I was like “Um.. yeah these totally aren’t legal but w/e.” Anyway, so we got there at like 6:50 and they closed at 7 so I figured we should go and get out of their hair. The guy working there was talking to this other lady in Korean and I was totally expecting him to be FOB and cranky/un-talkative like most oriental market-owning Korean men but when he helped me he started talking in perfect English (which makes me think he was either born in the states or moved to the states at a very early age).
Well anyway, when I go to a Korean market or Asian market that has posters I usually ask them if they’re selling them to see if I could get some cool Coffee Prince stuff or whatnot, so I ask him if he’s selling them and he’s like, “I could probably just give them to you, I dunno, what are you looking for?” So I mentioned Coffee Prince and he goes looking through things and comes back eventually and says he has no Coffee Prince stuff, but then he said, “Do you know... the uh.. Juniors or something?” and I said, “......Super Junior???” and he was like, “yeah!” and then he just GAVE me 5 posters... which turned out not to be Super Junior, but HE GAVE ME POSTERS....
After that he mentioned something about some girls who special order magazines from him and I’m like, “Do you do Japanese magazines too??” AND HE SAID YES..
IT’S MY NEW FAVORITE STORE.
THEY WILL BE SEEING MUCH MORE OF ME IN THE FUTURE.
Plus the guy was really cool, he talked about Wii with TJ and me and playing with his kids and we talked for a while.. yeah he was really nice.
