going deep
I won't get to use this icon much more, since Tim Tebow just played his last regular season game in college football.
All week long I've watched Tebow and Coach Urban Meyer cry about how much they love each other. It's the cutest thing I've ever seen.
Tebow came out crying, to the cheers of 90 thousand people. Then he got to score 5 touchdowns, wearing a new Nike uniform with white wings stitched in the shoulders, to finish out the first undefeated season at Florida EVER, win the record for just about everything in the conference, make one more touchdown pass to Riley Cooper, his pro-baseball playing roommate ("that's who he likes to go deep to" as the sportsguys put it), and be what journalists are calling the bridge between the cult hero and the folk hero and the sports hero. And I don't even know what he's doing next. Well, there's the Alabama SEC Championship game next Saturday, and hopefully the BCS National Championship game after that, where he can play for his third national title. Possibly his second Heisman (a girl can hope).

P.S. I'm going to see a movie called Paris, after an emergency donuts and coffee run. Then it's another week, another Sunday homework day, and another episode of Dr. Drew's Sex Rehab.
