happiness is a fancon and a western road trip
Since last time I went to a con, no one knew I was going until I got back, I'm going to say this early...
I'M GOING TO SD COMICON AND TAKING A ROAD TRIP, PEOPLE! Meet me there :)
So, after Wednesday, I'll have some computer access but I won't be around every day.
I got a new camera. Ooh, it's a Canon, with a 20x zoom, which means I get blurry pictures of lightning:
It was really windy on the mountain, and I don't have a tripod. May I have good luck getting close-ups of Misha's face :)
Three more days until Comicon, whoa. I'm sure hoping they let us pick up day passes early... *crosses fingers* Epic SPN spoilers today, but I don't really believe Kripke anymore. Boo.
Then I'm going on a semi-massive road trip. May I hit Los Angeles, Big Sur, San Francisco, Yosemite, Death Valley, and Las Vegas in peace. I shall return with pictures.
Also, I think my big, brain-eating story is done! One more day to sit on it, and then x-post city. I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out (it's past the brain-eating stage, finally) though it's been really hard. It's taken weeks for the plot to come together, but it was easier to be patient when I had more free time this Summer. It took more time to write than I meant to take, but it's as long as I wanted it to be and I don't feel like tossing it anymore, hooray!
