I really appreciated the end , I love the 'They only made sense when they were reaching through each other’s bodies, searching for a truth they never would have believed in, in a world they were absolutely alone in' . I liked to have Alastair , Sammy & Cas with Dean in the same slash .

Do you know the poem of Oscar 'The Ballad of Reading Gaol' ? It's very touching , he wrote it after his two years of jail for his homosexuality and about the hanging of a prisonner . There is some verses that I think are the most beautiful thing I ever read in a poem

Yet each man kills the thing he loves
By each let this be heard,
Some do it with a bitter look,
Some with a flattering word,
The coward does it with a kiss,
The brave man with a sword!

Oh, that is so beautiful! Love and death (and slash) go hand in hand. Oscar was wonderful. He really appreciated irony in a way that few people do.

I miss Alastair. I wanted a character like him since I first started watching the show, because there was always a need for a consistent character to use to torture Dean with. Alastair was perfect, and I agree with lburke when she calls him Dean's Hannibal Lecter psycho ex-husband :) Makes my heart happy.
