I loved the film! It's a full 12 hours since I left the cinema and I'm STILL excited! I just want to go again. Now!

I like the idea of Uhura as the equivalent of the Borg Queen for our collective. Resistance is futile. Your unique plot bunnies will be assimilated and added to our own :p

I'm intrugued - which pairing floated your boat? Even though I've been into Trek for years and years, the slashiness of it is only now dawning now that I'm revisiting it with a finely tuned slash filter.

See? Now I've started thinking about it I've started making pairings in my head! This stuff's totally infectious!

Oh, I used to slash Garak/Bashir from Deep Space Nine. They are a lovely pairing :) Other ST slash pairings I've read or read about:

Chakotay/Paris (Voyager)
Janeway/Seven (Voyager)
Kirk/Spock (TOS)

... hmmm, there are more but it's been awhile. There used to be a newsgroup for Star Trek slash about 10 years ago, and it was huge. I've lost track, but I doubt it's all gone away -- Star Trek was the first slash, after all :)
