Apparently, vacation for me means waking up every morning and writing Robinsex. Let me know if I get Roy really wrong here. I know I’ve written their reunion before but Jason seems much more self-assured now and I figure he can do whatever he wants. I’m not friends-locking these for now (vacation! Oops, typo fixed, thanks. And THANKS in caps for being a Roy fan and still liking this :) I am growing fonder of him all the time. You give awesome feedback, you know.

In my head they are both childhood smack addicts and former Batfamily enthusiasts who enjoy drinking, guns, rough sex, and protecting the innocent. It's too cute. (Dick/Roy is an awesome OTP, BTW. You've got decades of history. Mine is Bruce/post-Crisis Jason. I've got like, six months. But their love conquers all.)

Yes, that's monkeycrackmary's Darth Robin :) So neat! I like your idea about 641. It's a catch-22 though with Jason (and Vader too). I mean, a part of me has to believe that a part of them wants to do right, and maybe they're just "misguided." But in order to have full respect for them, I have to believe that they absolutely believe in what they're doing, no matter if others think it's wrong. It's just too easy for "evil" characters to be dismissed as, well, evil. I hope they do more with Jason. I think he's just doing what he knows and what he believes, no matter how screwed up it can be. A part of me wishes that Bruce would turn to his side (but I probably shouldn't hold my breath). As for his short history, don't feel too bad. There's so much subtext and just gonzo weirdness involving Jason that it's hard to complain ( ... )

Outsiders 19 is the one where Roy rescues Lian from Tanner. And, um, which Dick/Roy fight are you talking about? ;) I have Outsiders 11 too where Dick pulls a gun on Roy to try to convince him he's ready to rejoin the team after getting shot. That's a nice meaty Roy issue.

Hmm, this discussion about Bruce and Red Hood is kind of making me rethink my denial. It would be interesting if Red Hood succeeded in making Gotham safer for a short while, but I don't really believe in what he's doing, not really. But hey, they're never going to "get together" in canon anyway, so it doesn't really change anything, if you think about it :) I guess I gotta get to writing more, because that's all I'm gonna get.

What, you mean you don't have every issue number and plotline memorized? ;) I really really don't, and most of my comics are at my mother's house far far away. I'm lucky I remember the number of an issue I read yesterday ( ... )
