MOVIES! or The Taint and PB + bacon + banana sandwiches

The Taint (2010, Richmond, VA) is a blast of a movie. I went to the premiere last weekend, and hopefully it will play at an underground film festival near you. A city's water supply gets infected with something bad, bad, bad. Fast-moving, violent as hell, and hilarious, it also boasts more cock shots than any film I have ever seen. A smorgasbord of cocks - hard, dripping, detached, close-up, and especially exploding. It kind of kicks ass.

Also, as someone who has had to watch at least one bad sexist indie horror film made by people she knows personally, I can say that this is not one of them.

Speaking of Richmond, I had my first taste of a grilled peanut butter, bacon, and banana sandwich tonight. Take a second and imagine that. DUDE, it is just that good.

Also, there's this little movie out you might have heard of - How to Train Your Dragon. My sis begged me for two weeks to see this movie, and I'm glad I finally went. It was what Avatar wished it was. Truly awesome. It is gorgeous in every single way, not least because the dragon, Toothless, acts and looks JUST LIKE MY CAAAAAAAAAT! My every-inch black and wild-eyed cat! It's the most adorable thing in the history of the universe. All the dragons kind of act like giant cats with wings. Plus, Craig Ferguson, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, and David Tennant do voices. (Okay, so David Tennant is barely heard in the movie, but he does narrate this cute promo vid):

Um, you should see it in 3D if you can, but if for some reason you can't, you can watch the whole movie here apparently.
