Dave took this picture tonight of Chloe in front of their house (that's Mike crouching on the left cutting boards for the siding). If Chloe looks dirty it's cause she was crawling around the basement helping Dave with the wiring today.
Many days Dave goes over to Cooks Forest to help Mike and Chloe with building their house. It was originally an old junk trailer with a roof over part of the trailer and an addition that had a basement under it. They tore the trailer out and put in more basement space and then built a big front room under the roof (that used to cover the trailer). It's turning into a pretty cute little cabin house.
Here's some "before" pictures taken on June 7th when they first bought the place:
Dave walking in the front. It looked good from the outside but the trailer was junk inside.
That porch structure that is on the back of the trailer was saved and they are going to be putting it on the back of the house.
Here are some more "before" pictures but now the trailer has been removed. These were taken on June 20th:
Back view.
That side porch will stay there and they will enclose it - it will eventually be Chloe's art studio.
Here are pictures from July 13th - getting ready to put in the basement for the new part of the house:
This was where the trailer was - they dug all that out so they could put in a full basement.
Footer prep - we had lots of rain in July that slowed things up - part of the wall even caved in after I took this picture.
So you can see they have done a lot since July!
