clocks ticking in tandem
We have 2 clocks in the living room and one just around the corner in the kitchen and when it it is very quiet in the early morning, like right now, that is the sound I hear the loudest. Surround sound ticking, going in a counterclockwise direction around me. It's almost dizzying. I also hear Dave softly snoring in the bedroom. I hear Oo-tapo doing his morning wash beside me. Every once in a while I hear a car motoring by but that is rare this morning since it is early Sunday. The refrigerator just started.
Nancy turned me on to a journal prompt idea that Lynda Barry posted on her tumblr. It says to list 7 things that you did that day, 7 things that you saw/noticed that day, one thing that you heard that day and do one small drawing each day. I want to try it. It will be in my paper journal but some might leak over to this LJ journal.
