I'm torn in my feelings about winter. If I never had it I'd miss it but I enjoy summer so much more.

That's really a wonderful shot. Great composition, and the lighting is perfect. :)

Thank you! I must admit to some adjustments in PS though. I added some orton effect.

Fast snow, slow snow, big flakes and small flakes...Who knew there were so many sorts of snowflakes! I guess today is an indoor day, then. I hope no-one had to go out anywhere!

Absolutely beautiful photo, though. I can see the snow is moving! (Falling). Also, how dark it is.

We didn't have to but Dave and I went out in the car a couple times. That was pretty.

Oh my, yes, there are so many kinds of snow - that just a few of the ways it can fall. :-)

Good observation about the falling snow. I had momentarily forgotten all the different ways snow can fall. But I definitely remember now that you've said it.

I was going to try and name some of them but my mind doesn't work so well for stuff like that - sleet, granular, puffy flakes, lazy snow, tiny crystals, hard driving snow, wet snow, dry snow etc...
