so much to do

Jan 22, 2014 12:18

Backyard this morning with the sun hitting the far hill and a half moon in the sky.

I have so much to occupy my mind right now! The new IR converted camera is so much fun. I haven't even opened up the cd that came with it that has tutorials for doing things in photoshop to the IR photos yet. I took a lot of photos this morning in the house with the grandsons (they had a 2 hour delay cause of the cold) and a few outside. It is only -4F right now though so I'm not going to be outside much today.

The boys passing time drawing pictures of each other and laughing at them.

A cardinal and the holly bush with snow in the background, taken from the kitchen window.

Gabe - his hair is actually dyed blue right now, but it looks really white instead.

Roswell.

Sebby playing with Yoshi on the flower carpet. Remember how that carpet has bright colored flowers on a black background - with IR the black is light blue. It seems that many fabrics that are black end up being that light blue color in IR for some reason.

Getting ready to go outside. That hat is red and the scarf over my head is multicolor red and yellow with black stripes.

White pine in the side yard - snow on the ground.

The house.

Front window.

Hens and chicks and some other kind of succulent.

Also Nancy lent me a puzzle ring so now I will get practice taking it apart and solving one. I am so obsessed with trying to figure out how to make one. There is no way I will be able to construct one unless I am first capable of solving (understanding) one. I am still working on the Celtic bracelet and I have a commissioned ring to make too so lots of stuff there to keep me busy. Also I am very excited about an upcoming trip I will be taking in about a month! Going to visit my good friend Berdella in Alabama (where she and her husband Don have their winter home), then going to go on from there and visit my sister Kathy in Florida! I will be gone for 2 weeks in all. Leaving February 24th. I only have one worry - I hope someone else can take care of Oo-tapo as well as I do. He can't miss his meds or his mealtimes or he will go downhill fast.

Oo-tapo in my black work chair just now.
