Things in my room. A cheery plaque that someone gave my brother John once (it says, The Sun Shines Wherever Love Grows), used paint box, and a wooden dog that John made in high school shop class - it has a long tail that sticks out to hang things on - I hang ribbons and electronic device cords and my binoculars on it. He painted it to look like our dog at the time, Trixy:
We take Johnny back to college today. I think he is really looking forward to getting back. He has been missing his girlfriend for the last month. We'll have an empty nest again - though not totally empty - we see a lot of the grandboys here most days.
Lately I started to think about puzzle rings - the kind that have 4 bands and they all fit together like this one:
I want to learn how to make one and then see if I would want to add them to my shop as one of my designs. I would change the design of the front area - there are other ways to make those interconnecting front areas, with added curlicues and knots. I never had one but I always wanted one. I found the directions and hope I am sharp enough to follow them. I don't feel like my brain works as good as it used to. We'll see...
