painting table
I'm happy to get my painting table organized and I've started the process of gluing down collage pictures and then painting backgrounds for the pages of the new Everything Book. I like that I can work on a page spread and then leave it for 15 minutes and came back later (after it dries) to do another one. My day is full of little creative breaks of choosing pictures and paint sloshing.
I put the Lensbaby fisheye lens on the camera to take this picture but then the optic got stuck in the body of the Lensbaby (my fault - I wasn't lining up the dots before I turned it into place) and I had a heck of a time getting it back out. I contacted Lensbaby and they told me it was going to be hard but I needed to pry it from the front and push it from the back - finally with Johnny's help (pushing from the back) I got it to pop out. Whew. Glad it didn't break.
I invited women's writer's group here today but I'm having my doubts that anyone will be showing up - we'll see. With the holidays and snow and broken down cars I might be writing alone - but that's ok - at least I'll have a good reason to clean house this morning. Also I just got an order for a ring set so there will be plenty to keep me busy today.
