I see that LJ is finally letting us fix up the new friends feed page with some colors and images. I might start using it instead of my old style. The thing I like about my old style is that it has my links list on it so I can reach all the other stuff I like. The new friends feed page won't give me a links list so I still need to open my own ( Read more... )

No date yet - we are waiting for the snow to clear and the ground between the two houses to dry up.

I'm still using the arm - just not in ways that hurt anymore. It (the shoulder) seems fine to use when it is in front of me or low. Just can't lift it high and behind me. And I am taking it easy with the wrist too but still moving it - just not doing "powerful" things with it. I was doing things that hurt before and I have decided that my body was trying to tell me something (DON'T HURT ME!) - I should listen and maybe things will heal faster!

You have a lot going on, M. Hang in there. Thinking good thoughts about your machine and resting are probably for the best. My husband has rotator cuff issues in both shoulders and resting is the only thing that gives him relief. (He's not interested in surgery.) There are also rubber band exercises he does when he's not in pain.

What app is that - I love the effect!

I'm not interested in surgery either - I guess that is why I don't even want to go to the doctor about it. I will try everything possible to self-heal first before doctoring. I do have a check up appointment in April for my cholesterol and I may talk about it then if it hasn't healed yet - that's my plan anyway...

It's STILL snowing at you place! You must be so over it.

I must admit, I was a little worried that you did not go to the doctor for your wrist. I would just go automatically here, but then, I don't have to pay. It must suck to make a decision based on money about your health care :(

When I went down to a healing night recently, a woman went to the chiropractor there and he adjusted her back and low and behold, she was able to raise her arm over her head, and could do it pain free! She had not been able to do that for some time, and she had been to doctors and specialists...I would recommend a chiropractor, Bowen therapy or massage. PS You might find this interesting :)

Your pickled eggs must be very yummy! Do you use your neighbour's eggs?

That's good that you and Dave are thinking about the new place, and making plans...although the claning out will be very ugh. I hate that sort of thing myself!

Still snowing - I don't mind the snow - I think it is pretty but I get very tired of the cold and don't enjoy going out in it much.

We don't have neighbor's with chickens - you might be thinking of my friend Deb - she has chickens, but over the winter they slow down their egg laying - I don't think she has enough to share yet. I buy eggs from the supermarket that are "cage free" - at least I can do that kindness for the poor chickens.

I was wishing a few years back that our government would come up with free medical for everyone but it didn't happen. I'm constantly trying to save money on the medical if possible (maybe trying too hard!)

Winter this year is really long, but very beautiful and today I went out for a walk, and the birds singing in the spring - a lot of fun
All you good!
